Description
THE THCP (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a recently discovered phytocannabinoid in the cannabis plant. It was first identified in 2019 by a team of Italian researchers as part of the UNIHEMP project 7 8 . THCP is similar to THC, the main cannabinoid in cannabis.
- Therapeutic Potential : THCP has the potential to treat conditions such as pain and inflammation, due to its interaction with CB2 receptors 1 7 .
- Presence in the Plant : THCP occurs in trace amounts in cannabis and is often synthesized from CBD and THC.
